Dissertation Title: Multidisciplinary Assessment on Mapping Tropical Wetland Landscapes Capacities of Multiple Ecosystem Services in Malaysia
Project Descriptions The main goal of the study is to assess holistic overview of ecosystem services potential supply, flows and demand indicators for wetland protected area on a local scale. This study is expected to identify a number of important aspects in mapping wetland ecosystem services particularly to compare both matrices of supply and demand of ecosystem services and finally allows to generate the overall balance to support sustainable management in wetland ecosystem.
Forschungsschwerpunkte Monitoring deforestation and fragmentation of tropical forest ecosystem
Remote Sensing and GIS in landscape management
Socio-ecological impact on landscape Change
Multiple ecosystem functions and services assessment
